Are there memberships that are specific for the different haircut types (Regular, Precision, Premium)?
Yes, we have different tiered memberships suitable for your haircut preference.
What are the benefits of a Starks membership?
Members receive monthly service credits (cuts and/or beard services) included in their plan, discounts of 10–25% off additional services and retail products depending on the plan tier, priority booking, and the convenience of a fixed monthly payment instead of paying per visit.
What's the difference between Regular, Precision and Premium?
Each reflects the cut type included in your credits. Regular covers maintenance cuts for short to medium hair. Precision adds detail and technique for more complex styles. Premium is the highest level of finish, with more time and attention per visit. Choose the one that matches how you usually get cut.
Are memberships available at all locations?
Yes. Starks memberships are offered at all locations. Memberships are specific to a location and are not redeemable at others Starks Barber Company locations. Pricing differs between urban and rural locations.
Is there a setup fee or signup fee for memberships?
No. There is no setup fee to join any Starks membership plan.
Is there a lock-in period?
Yes. All memberships have a 6-month minimum lock-in period before cancellation is permitted. After the lock-in period, you can cancel at any time.
Do unused credits carry over to the next month?
We are flexible enough to allow members to transfer only one credit to the following month because we understand that life happens. For example, if you’re on a semi-monthly subscription and you’re eligible for 2 haircuts that month but you miss one, we will allow you to carry one over to the following month, giving you three eligible haircuts in the following month. Any additional unused monthly credits do not carry over to the following month. We encourage members to use their credits within the month they are issued.
Is there a membership for beards only?
No, however you are free to replace any of your haircut credits (Regular, Precision, Premium) for a Beard Razor Sculpt.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes, after the 6-month lock-in period. There is a 30-day grace period after cancellation during which your existing credits remain redeemable. Please contact your home location or the team directly to process a cancellation.
What is the difference between Regular, Precision, and Premium membership tiers?
The membership tier name (Regular, Precision, Premium) reflects the type of haircut that the customer is able to book as part of the respective membership. It’s important you consult your barber or call our shop to inquire which membership is best suitable for you if you’re unsure.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my membership?
Yes. Contact your home location and a team member will assist you with changing your membership plan. Changes typically take effect at the next billing cycle.
How do I sign up for a membership?
Memberships can be purchased online through our website or at any Starks location. You will need a valid credit card for the recurring monthly charge. There is no setup fee.
